The Spring Blazer Print that's Hot: Styled 3 Ways!

Happy Wednesday!  Here we are in March already, I don't know about you all, but this 2019 has started quite fast and before you know it Summer will be here!  I mean, my kids are already going to be out for Spring Break next week, eek!  Can time slow down please!  So, Texas weather has been so bipolar lately!  We go from 65-70 degree weather to low 30's the next day!  We keep out coats out and Summer clothes at the same time!  Honestly, I love wearing Winter coats and boots, but not more than I love Spring and Summer dresses, skirts, short sets, etc...

I've recently also blogged several times about a print that has taken the Fall 2018 into possibly Spring and Summer 2019 by storm!  And that is, the snakeskin print!  Yes, like I've said before, from accessories to clothing, this print is HOT, HOT, HOT right now!  And honestly, it doesn't look like it is going anywhere for Spring and Summer 2019, and I'm totally okay with it!  Especially, when I've scored on some amazing snakeskin pieces lately!

Which brings me to today's blog post topic, the snakeskin print blazer styled three different ways!  I scored this New York and Company 7th Avenue snakeskin printed blazer for $16.00 at my local Clothes Mentor!  Clothes Mentor is one of my absolute favorite resale shops for many reasons! 1. They have gently used designer clothing 2. Designer new and gently used accessories (jewelry, handbags, and wallets) and 3. The most reasonable resale find prices!  I know you all are tired of me saying and repeating myself, but boy do I sure love to shop resale!  Most of the time, I score items new with tags attached!

So let's get started with the first look in this statement piece blazer!  The white soft button up was on sale at my local Kohls for $29.99 (the best $30 investment, a classic white button)  The denim are Rock and Republic also from Kohls and the nude pumps are Christian Siriano for Payless (sad they are closing, what to do without Christian Siriano's amazing shoes and accessories).  The handbag is a Rebecca Minkoff shoulder bag also purchased at Clothes Mentor just under $40.00!

Blazer Style No. 1:

The second look is styled with a Free People Jade belted denim A-line mini denim skirt which was on clearance (additional 40% off in-store), black ankle strap block heels, the same Apt.9 white button up from Kohls, and a cute color block Christian Siriano mini chain handbag (final closing sale at my local Payless).

Blazer Style No.2:

The final look styled with the same New York and Company snakeskin print blazer, I opted for boot cut denim to give me a more casual chic look!  The boot cut Rock and Republic denim were a clearance find at my local Kohls last season and they are still in my closet!  I bring them out in the Spring before the Texas heat hits!  I wore black ankle strap block heels (Charlotte Russe several seasons old) and my favorite quilted chain bag from Christian Siriano, again for Payless (who is going out of business-heartbroken)!

Blazer Style No.3:

A blazer is such a versatile statement piece that must be in your closet season after season!  Why? Because a blazer can be styled for the workplace, dressed up for date night, night out with your girls, or to sharpen your look!  I love styling blazers in the Spring and early Summer with dress shorts, skirts, and two piece sets!  Blazer are by far the easiest to style and my favorite staple in my closet!  And I usually keep designer or name brand blazers for a long time until they are so worn out, they have to be replaced!  So, don't be surprised to see me in this blazer next Spring!

Never be afraid to wear your clothing more than once, more than one Season, it helps save you money from buying and most of the time, they make a comeback all over again!
