My Favorite Denim, Sweater, and Boots!

Image
Happy Tuesday Loves!  Today's blog post will be shorter than usual because I just wanted to direct link today's outfit and a few of my favorite jeans and sweaters!  Some are not currently available online and sold out(sorry) but I am linking similar styles!

I love Texas days in late Fall and into Winter where we get that good all you need is a sweater, jeans, and boots kind of day!  While I love layering, sometimes I feel like I look bulky and more top heavy than I normally am!  And while I love being a part of the Like To Know It app, some days I dislike that I cannot link my exact purchases!  So, I try and choose the items most similar and least expensive!  I am not a Like To Know It savvy pro yet, so bare with me!

Although my sweater I am wearing today is no longer available online, I am still linking it in any case you like it and want to be added to their list once it becomes available!  But I have linked my exact jeans! And my Aldo bag was a sale find at my local Ross, b…

I love styling pretty coats with dresses, pencil skirts, and jeans!  You can always dress a coat up or down depending on where you are going!  So take a look at some links I have put for you all in case you are looking for that perfect Winter coat!  I have linked the most affordable and cute…

Mommy and Me Leopard Print: Finding Looks for Us Both!

Image
Happy Saturday Babes!  Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving? Black Friday?  Christmas? New Years Eve?  Is it me or did the year pass us by way too fast?!  I mean it was just Summer yesterday!  Well, I am sure ready for the upcoming holidays!  I put together my entire family's looks for Thanksgiving last week and I am so excited to share it with you all on the actual holiday!  It was the most affordable of looks I've styled for us all (we are a family of six)!
Now, to today's blog post discussion!  Recently my daughter and I have been wearing matching outfits on the weekends!  It was hard at first, because my daughter is the total opposite of me!  She is the only girl, so she is rough, she is tough, and she doesn't like her hair up at all or wearing bows!  She only likes leggings and jeggings!  She hates denim!  I know she will grow out of it when she gets older, and that is why I don't mind letting her be comfortable now, letting her be a kid, even if she wants leggi…

The Fab Five Fashionsta's: Use Your Power To Empower

Image
Hello faithful followers and readers!  It's been a minute since I last blogged with life getting so busy and the Holidays literally around the corner!  But before I start bringing the Holiday outfits and ideas for this Season, let me start by saying that my Fashion sister's and I decided to collaborate with a powerful printed t-shirt from Target!

What does "empower" mean to you?  Empower to me means supporting you, loving your ideas, encouraging you, and giving you all the positivity you deserve and want in life!  More importantly, using that power to empower!  Especially in today's world where the Internet can become so toxic and mean!  Yes, mean!  I say that because people can get nasty behind the keyboard!  Women especially can be so critical, judging, nasty, and non-supportive of other women!  There are women who follow you on your social media platforms, never support you, never show you love, but are quick to point out what they see is "wrong with you&…

Image
Have you caught the leopard print fever yet?  I mean who can resist all things leopard print!  This year it seems though that the print has made a come back and a huge one at that!  More so than ever!  Every store you visit, notice there is leopard print in everything, from clothing to accessories, and even home goods!

And what better way to introduce this ever so hot trend, than getting together with my Fashionsta sister's and collaborate on styling the leopard print trend in our own ways! So let's see what my sister's in fashion and I have put together to get you all into this trend!

I found my leopard print dress on clearance at my local Target under $15, brand is A.New.Day!  It is perfect for layering and transitioning into Fall/Winter!  The puff sleeve sweater is also the same brand and that one I paid regular price $24.99 but so worth it because these sweaters are the must have for this Season and they have been selling pretty fast!  The boots, most of you that read …

Fall Sweaters For Less Way Less!

Image
Happy Tuesday October 16, 2018 guys!  This year is quickly going fast and soon the Holidays will be here!  But let's not panic!  Let us enjoy sweater weather!  On a recent trip to my local Wal-Mart, they happen to have the women's clothing on the edge of the aisle as you are making way toward the cashiers!  And I see sweaters, all styles, all colors, I can't help but stop my grocery cart and look!  They are soft, they are modern, and they are AFFORDABLE!  Yes, very affordable!

I purchased the same sweater photographed below in all the colors, because it was like the price of one at a high end department store!  If you have never shopped clothing at Wal-Mart whatever the reason may be, don't knock it till you try it as they say!  For me it is not all about the name on the label or the fact that it came from a high end department store (some people are all about that life, no worries, that's okay)  I shop high end department stores too, but not for every single thin…
