The Fab 5 Fashionista's: The Gabrielle Union Collection

If I haven't told you all the story, let me recap briefly!  I have met some wonderful women on social media while blogging and posting my passion for all things style, outfits, accessories, and deals!  And I have come to learn, that when women get together, wonderful and amazing things happen!  This is our second collaboration via social media (we have not met in person, yet) and we all decided to bring you our favorite pieces from Gabrielle Union for New York and Company!  We all love New York and Company and we especially love Gabrielle's collection!

I decided to go with the pink floral kimono jacket because it's such a versatile piece.  It can be styled so many ways (coming soon to the blog)!  Today I decided to pair with these cute Berry Punch pink paper bag waist shorts, also Gabrielle Union, and striped top with black pumps and matching bag!  The striped top is from Who What Wear collection from Target (old purchase), the Christian Siriano bag is from Payless (old p…

The Feminine Dress for Spring!

Hello Fashionistas!  As the weather gets better, warmer, and tolerable, I cannot wait to share outfit ideas such as the look below!  Nothing says femininity more than a floral maxi dress, and sexy when it comes with two front slits!  This dress caught my eye at my local TJMaxx not just because of the floral print, but it has everything I love about a dress, all in one!

I love the sleeve details, the opening in the back, the two front slits, and most of all, the floral print!  I decided to style this beautiful dress with a wide belt and I just happen to find this beautiful pink belt with bow at my local New York and Company for the clearance price of just $5.99!  The dress was only $19.99 at my local TJMaxx!  The pops of pink make it so feminine and chic!

This dress can also be styles without a belt and some sandals for a great late Spring/Summer look!  And don't forget to add a sunhat later in the Summer!  So many ways to style this dress!  This time around, I picked a wide belt t…

Layering Jumpsuits for Spring!

When the temperatures in Texas aren't warm enough for jumpsuits alone, what does this Momma do?!  I layer my jumpsuits with pretty tops!  And this Spring I have become obsessed with culotte jumpsuits, from strapless to thin spaghetti straps, I have become obsessed with layering them!  And I am a huge fan of trying them with patterns or solid bright colors, to even floral print jumpsuits!  The fun part about these looks is that I have found most on clearance or for very affordable prices!

This first look is a strapless cobalt culotte jumpsuit which I found on clearance at my local Ross Department Store for just under $18!  I decided to pair it with a black and white floral print blouse (old purchase from JcPenney) and black ankle strap Steve Madden heels (resale find at my local Clothes Mentor).  And of course, the look wouldn't be complete without my Christian Siriano black bag from Payless (old purchase and one of my favorites).

The second look is also a strapless printed cul…

I have met some incredibly talented women on social media, from sharing our favorites stores, deals, outfits, and even sharing the same passion for the art of fashion and style!  We decided one day to start up a group message with the ideas of a possible collaboration, which is the very first for me!  And what better way to kick off a collab with my Fashionista sisters, than showing you all the best of Spring!

I will kick off the Spring Edition with this maxi cold shoulder dress that I found…
